N&C Phlexicare are the official manufactures and suppliers of the National Key Scheme, RADAR. This scheme offers disabled people independent access to locked public toilets around the country with our N&C Radar Keys.

The RADAR range of products have been specifically designed for various reasons. The official key has been designed with a blue heart shaped head which enables not only a better and more comfortable grip but also improves function when turning they key to help the user access the lock. The blue heart used throughout the design of our radar products is a key part to the story of this scheme as this doesn’t only represent RADAR but is also the symbol for invisible disability throughout the UK.

The surrounding sticker used for a radar lock was also designed with people with visual impairments in mind. The colour contrast throughout the sticker allows partially blind people to be able to see the lock a lot clearer.

Our RADAR Padlock Hasp and Staple was designed to be red due to the attention that it brings to users. The colour makes it easier to see and more noticeable.
